Article Updates

In an effort to simplify my work, and reduce the number of articles, I'm in the process of rewriting, combining closely-related topics, and removing most of the redundancy.

The Computer Interfacing, Cables, and Port Pinouts have been rolled into one article called Cabling & Interfacing.

Digital Electronics has been combined with Warranty Issue into Vehicle Electronics & Warranty.

I've rewritten the Wiring & Grounding, and included the Wiring Protection within it.

The link to UNUN matching has been removed. Information on UNUN matching is in the Matching article as it always has been.

The Antenna, Home Brew has been moved into Home Brew Things, and slightly rewritten.

Grounds, RF & DC, and Ground Plane Notes are combined as well.

Modified articles will appear on the Index page as orange signs, rather than green. I should mention, however, that small changes occur quite often. These include, but aren't limited to, spelling and grammar errors that I catch ever so often. These will still be green headed as it were.

I have a couple of others I might combine as well, so stay tuned.

Automatic Antenna Controllers

As reported in these pages a few months ago, Turbo Tuner has ceased to function as a reliable supplier of antenna controllers. Then in December 2012, The BetterRF company closed it doors. There is a lot which can be said about both of these companies, however it is always best to let sleeping dogs lie.

As a result, at this time, the only available automatic antenna controllers come from MFJ. There is more to be said here too, but I choose to let that dog along as well.
